Jamie Redknapp’s ex has confirmed rumours that due to a freak accident which saw her slice open her chin, she’s been forced to miss some of her upcoming theatre gig.
Taking to Instagram, the starlet shared a snap of her bandaged up in hospital.
Louise captioned the shot: “It breaks my heart to say I am having to take some time out and won’t be able to continue with my role in 9-5.
“Due to a nasty fall I have only gone and fractured my wrist and got 10 (yes 10) stitches in my chin.”
Revealing how medics have warned her off taking to the West End stage, the Strictly babe added: “Following my doctor’s orders.
“They have said I will be ok but as they say in the theatre, ‘The show must go on.’
“I wish the rest of the fabulous cast an amazing opening night and I will be back on that stage for 9 to 5 before you know it.”
It’s hoped that Louise will be able to join the Dolly Parton musical towards the end of March or early April.
Standing by her co-star, Love Island’s Amber Davies logged into Twitter before tweeting: “Well. I leave you for two mins.
“Wishing one of my favourite humans the most speedy recovery.
“I can’t wait to be beside you as we play leading ladies together.”
Amber and Louise were booked to play two of the biggest roles in the whole production.
While Amber will still remain with the show as planned, it’s not yet known who will step in for Louise.
However, bosses will have to act quick as the musical kicks off on January 28 at The Savoy Theatre in central London.
